Your photos of the Anthropocene – help us build a national Anthropocene gallery!
Everyone experiences what it means to be living in the Anthropocene differently. To some, it means documenting gradual changes in the ecosystems around them. To others, it means spending weekends participating in rallies and community events. To the artists behind The Anthropocene Project, including Edward Burtynsky, it means photographing the very essence of human impacts on the planet. What does it mean to you?
Submit a photo (or several!) and help us build a national Anthropocene gallery to raise awareness about the issues and challenges these photographs represent, and bring the implications of human land use and land cover change forward in people’s consciousness.
